Administratrivia: I reorganized the "Music" section to create a division between general mentions and live shows.
This week: Travie took us on a wander through the Lower East Side with some of his friends (I really did feel like I was perched in one of his pockets, it was charming), took in some legendary jazz piano (note to wikipedia: Giuseppi Logan is not dead as of 7/20/09, and Travis McCoy has the TwitPic to prove it), got a tattoo and then headed out on the Six Flags tour with The Academy Is . . . and Boys Like Girls, The Veronicas and Never Shout Never.
While on tour he's been sketching something for Staying Alive, riding rollercoasters and also playing with Hot Wheels. (♥, Travie.) Finally, he seems to have a general affinity for things named "Daredevil."
