sailorstkwrningIt feels like everyone got a new dog recently. While not making cooing noises at my screen, I've been noting choices of names, and they are diverse! So here is a mini-picspam of puppies, both recently arrived and familiar.

Named for: Boba Fett, Star Wars (if Boba); I have no idea (if Milo)
Name: Bogart Urie
Human: Brendon Urie, singer/too many instruments to list, Panic! At the Disco
Named for: Humphrey Bogart, actor; probably also reference to stoner culture/"bogarting" a joint
Name: Frank Sinatra DeLeon
Human: Alex "Singer" DeLeon, singer, The Cab
Named for: Frank Sinatra
Name: Marley Walker
Human: Jon Walker, bassist, The Young Veins
Named for: Bob Marley
Name: Nashville Cyrus
Human: Trace Cyrus, singer, Metro Station
Named for: City of Nashville
Name: Stitch McCoy
Human: Travie McCoy, singer, Gym Class Heroes
Named for: Stitch in movie Lilo and Stitch.

Human(s): Mikey and Alicia Way, bassist for My Chemical Romance and, uh, I honestly don't know what Alicia does now -- volunteer for La Brea Tarpit Museum?
Named for: Don't know for sure, but suspect Piglet from Winnie the Pooh.
Note re: the rest of the MCR menagerie: I limited myself to photos that have appeared on Twitter. Gerard has no dog pictures, and Frank and Ray either deleted or never Tweeted pictures of their dogs to begin with. Bob deleted his Twitter altogether, though his TwitPic remains; I just don't feel right putting up pictures of poor Dixie, even if she is sharing the frame with Peppers and Mama. (;Dixie;)
