Brendon: Thanked Polish fans for their video "thank you" to the band for playing at Coke Fest and rt'd Dallon sharing a link to an Inception-themed cat video. I haven't seen the movie so I have no idea what any of it is supposed to mean. But there's a comically wide-eyed cat and dramatic music, so it's not a painful two minutes, or whatever.

Spencer: Completed two full months of radio silence.

Ryan Promoted The Like's UK release of Release Me; had a thoughtful discussion with himself about his iPhone autocorrecting "heheheh" to "bejesus" and how "heheheh" = mischief and "hahaha" = funny; expressed his appreciation for movies; had a dream about ordering food and getting a new toothbrush (and noted that he used to "dream big"); wondered how long he could wear a costume (which he didn't share pictures of, sadly); assured Michael Runion he was looking after LA for him while Runion was away; quoted something called "Tbone & dingus" that I didn't recognize and couldn't find; and then apparently met with some misadventure and hurt his ribs. While recovering he rt'd Greenwald muttering about no-one following him (Greenwald) on Twitter; was cranky at what I presume was a videogame; and had an exchange with Vincent Perini in which he agreed waking up with a Train song in your head was like being dick-slapped by the Universe, but added that for other people it was like waking up to toaster strudel; I took the "I have NO idea" comment as a response to a probable flood of " . . . WHAT?" in his @ replies; asked for a cane because he wanted a sandwich; finished up by wanting new ribs.

Nick Noted that he was back in LA, with an vague comment about "strange days"; rt'd something comparing Facebook to roadkill (a rodent) about to be washed away by the rain; shared a link to a video for OUTRAGEOUS CHERRY- If You Want Me; answered some fan questions/comments (they have not found their gear; he does not watch Gray's Anatomy; he posts his favorite music to his Tumblr all the time; the show with The Like in Portland is not part of a tour (or, maybe, isn't happening, depending on which part of the question he answered, it isn't clear); told everyone to come visit him while he was working at Spaceland; shared a link to a video of a reality show contestant losing it due to sleep deprivation; went down to San Diego to attend a power pop showcase and visit with the most adorable Chinese Crested puppy EVER; was glad it was Monday; and then the Bad Rabbits apparently came in his room and woke him up to party at 4 AM. He was pleased at this development; I am wondering if this means he's (still?) living with Ryan.

Andy: Spent a nice day (today) hanging out in Hyde Park.

Jon: Completed one month of radio silence.

The Like: Assorted promotional and show related chatter, including a reminder that the Birmingham show was cancelled; shared links to their Reading/Leeds interview and live conversation on BBC 6Music (today). The biggest news was probably that the opener for their Brighton show was Johnny Borrell of Razorlight's new band. They didn't give a name, and the one show report I read said 1) the name isn't known, 2) the new band sounds like "Americana with Beck influences" and finally 3) the band members who were not Johnny Borrell came out in vests and cowboy hats. All I can wonder is if "He's Not a Boy" is actually about Borrell and if so, if it was at all awkward playing it with him right there.
