Ryan: Played the George Harrison tribute show, which seems to have gone well; briefly donned his cranky pants (which, okay, I'm hopeless, but I love his stupid just-woke-up cranky face); continued to shenanigate with Alex Greenwald, including taking in an The Like/Arctic Monkeys show, earworming us all with "Eye of the Tiger" from karaoke, and driving around Beverly Hills looking for belts and admiring the homes of strangers (I do appreciate those turrets, I have to say). Also he watched a fair amount of TV, wished Jon Walker a happy birthday and connived to get Z Berg to join Twitter. I'm not making a list for her, but so far she's kind of charming.

Puzzle for the week: Who is Joe Sesna? I found a RAW fighter called Joe Cessna, or maybe Joe Cena, but I'm not sure that's right. In conclusion: aside from the random getting sick off a Slurpee incident, he seems to be reasonably happy. Also, he's changed his profile picture again, to a slightly recent photograph of himself.

Brendon: Kicked off the week by sharing a video of a scene from The Music Man which celebrates the most bizarre term of affection ever. If you ask me "Shipoopie" sounds like someone trying to do a quick-save on cursing. Watching it, I noticed some Family Guy videos in the YouTube sidebar; evidently it was part of a scene on the show. I'm amused by that, and intrigued that Brendon chose to share the original with us. He does seem to have as much of a fondness for Golden Age musicals as he does the Disney kind.

Anyway, after that, he came to New York during the VMAs but apparently watched it on TV rather than attend (he was also Unimpressed With Kanye West); did a whole bunch of press, probably for Jennifer's Body, watched a football game and a Chris Rock special; talked about Journey some more with Pete; wished Jon Walker a happy birthday; and wrapped it up with a Jennifer's Body-related performance and a wedding. (And an acoustic show, but he didn't mention it himself.)

Other musical selections included a fantastic Foxy Shazam song that somehow reminded me of Meat Loaf (in a good way; I love Meat Loaf in all of his bombastic glory, and also if you're going to make big pop music with sing-along choruses, Meat Loaf is how you do it), Jay-Z, The Bird and the Bee, Otis Redding and KC and Jo-Jo.

Spencer: Was quiet save for sharing one picture of Brendon playing acoustic in the offices of SPIN magazine, and wishing Jon a happy birthday. It may be he's the one updating the band Twitter, but that reads more like Zack than Spencer, to me.

Jon: Also very quiet this week; he posted a picture of himself and a friend (relative?) in silly hats, challenged us to a game of "Guess those toes!", grumbled about money being the root of all evil, thanked us for birthday wishes, and quoted a Coolio song and Beauty and the Beast.
