Ryan Ross and his new pet, Captain Knots

About a week ago now, Ryan adopted a Bengal kitten:







He named this precious ball of fluff "Captain Knots".

It turns out Captain Knots is an actual person with his own fandom / Tumblr tag, which is now overrun with Ryan and his kitten. And they are not impressed.

As best I can tell, Captain Knots has something to do with ImmortalHD, which I think is related to a game called League of Legends. I am not quite sure how it all ties together because I'm an old person and can't figure out what Captain Knots actually does besides streaming content of some kind and writing songs.

Anyway, tl;dr, Ryan Rossy has maybe named his cat a complicated internet/gaming in-joke.

This is pretty much the sweetest thing on the planet, I am so glad I decided not to forgo my post-non-internet-having f-list backread, because these pictures are so great! And I never check instagram, so I might not have seen them for quite some time...

Anyway, that is an adorable kitten, and also, I cannot help but wonder who the photographer was on the sleeping picture.

I think at this point I'm more keen on getting the daily kitten picture than on getting new Ryan pictures. Because the kitten is just that cute.

re: photographer on sleeping pictures, yeeeees, that is a good question. I thought perhaps it was Ryan himself? He could be holding his phone with the hand we can't see? But if not it was probably Dan or Kate. Maybe Tru. They all seem to be around regularly.
